The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce in Florida is an Innovation Alliance that advocates a strong economic and business environment and serves as a platform to build a strong community in order to connect, nurture and inspire Hungarian entrepreneurs, professionals and intellectuals. Who We Are

Hungarian Chamber of Business and Commerce in Florida (HunBizFlo)

HunBizFlo is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 with the aim of strengthening business relations between Hungary and Florida. Our mission is to support our members' local and international business goals and help them successfully enter the U.S. market.

Our core activities include:

We maintain a local presence in three key locations in Florida – Orlando–Daytona, Miami and Sarasota  – to offer on-the-ground support, events, and business resources to our members.

Meet the other founders too!

Upon receiving her Juris Doctorate degree from Eötvös Loránd University, School of Law and Political Sciences, she started her career as an in-house associate in Budapest. After passing the bar exam in Hungary and California, she worked for professional services firms including a Big Four. She assisted high net worth individuals and private companies based in the U.S. and the EU., with legal and tax advisory services to advance clients’ multinational business activities. With a decade of experience, she returned to school and earned a Master of Law in Taxation degree. Practicing law in Budapest, London, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles allows her to benefit from the multi-jurisdictional project management experience she gained through cross-border transactions, and the international network of qualified acquaintances with whom she studied or worked together. Her focus is advising worldwide operations of family offices and close corporations in connection with planning and compliance in legal matters and taxation.

 

Csaba is the founder and inventor of FlatBox, the Innovation Award winner, machine washable lunch bag that converts to a placemat. After selling the majority of FlatBox, Csaba started his new venture, EarthSmart Life, a company dedicated to manufacture and distribute earth friendly products. Due to working with numerous factories overseas and in the USA for over a decade, Csaba has gained exceptional knowledge in product development, sourcing and manufacturing. This naturally led him to start a consulting company that provides global sourcing services. His creative mind, unique strategies, passion and attention to details has helped many companies flourish under his guidance. In addition, Csaba enjoys giving back to his community. 

 

Gábor Kocsis is a serial internet entrepreneur who founded, built and sold several internet based, and e-commerce companies, such as HáziPatika.com, Petissimo.hu, Jateknet.hu. He moved to Florida in the early 2010’s and continued to launch online startups, stand-alone ecommerce stores, and Amazon store fronts.
He was eager to participate in the foundation of HUNBIZFLO, the goal of which is to build a growing network of Hungarian-Floridian businessmen and businesswomen, who can help each other by sharing information and opening business opportunities for each other. Gabor is looking forward to meeting more Hungarian entrepreneurs in Florida having fun

 

Gabor T Nagy has more than 20 years of senior management experience working for global manufacturing companies. He is a seasoned business coach, specialized in Strategic Management, organizational development, company acquisitions and joint ventures.

Gabor has been an active member of his local community helping companies and nonprofit organizations to achieve their strategic goals, improve their management practices, leadership skills and find their path to sustainable growth.

He was eager to participate in the foundation of HUNBIZFLO, the goal of which is to build a growing network of Hungarian-Floridian businessmen and businesswomen, who can help each other by sharing information and opening business opportunities for each other. Gabor is looking forward to meeting more Hungarian entrepreneurs in Florida having fun
